Debra A. Verni


Debra A. Verni is Senior Counsel at Rowlands, LeBrou, & Griesmer, PLLC.  Debbie has represented individuals for over 20 years in the practice areas of Elder Law, Long-Term Care Planning, Asset Protection, Estate Tax Planning, Estate Administration, and Real Estate.

Debbie has a passion for understanding each client’s needs and wishes as they prepare for their Long-Term Care and Estate Planning, which makes her a valued and trusted resource for clients, before and after the death of a loved one.  Debbie’s ability to explain complex legal matters in simple terms is one of her greatest strengths, and she has created a reputation as being more than an attorney.  Debbie assists multi-generational clients, delivering consistent and sound planning, ensuring their loved ones are taken care of and the estate is appropriately overseen.

Debbie graduated from Syracuse University College of Law with a Juris Doctorate with a concentration in Tax and Estate Law in 2001. She graduated from Cazenovia College with a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Business Management in 1998.

Debbie is very active in the community and is a member of the Trusts & Estates Section and Elder Law & Special Needs Planning Sections of the New York State Bar Association and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She is also a board member for the Estate Planning Council of Eastern New York, the Saratoga County Bar Association, and a former member of the Board of Trustees for Cazenovia College. In addition, Debbie is the past President of the Cazenovia College Alumni Association and a Past President of Soroptomist International of Saratoga County.

 

Debbie practices out of the Saratoga and Latham offices. She is a frequent lecturer on Estate and Medicaid Planning issues and is available for speaking engagements. Please contact our office for more information.
